2019 Review
DMF Systems continues to grow and develop.
2019 has been another busy year for us.
We thought it would be helpful to reflect and share with you what we’ve been most proud of as a company these last twelve months.
eDischarge Summaries
DMF systems’ HIQA and JCI compliant eDischarge summaries and ePrescription are being rolled out in Mater Private Hospital, St Lukes General Hospital- Kilkenny, Wexford General Hospital and Mullingar General Hospital. The software integrates with the IPU Drug database which helps reduces medication errors. As well as the capture and display of allergy information, eDischarge also reduces adverse drugs events, and hospital re-admissions. The software is already delivering efficiencies for Clinicians and benefits for Patients in 6 Acute Hospitals and Community care hospitals throughout Ireland.
ICU Clinical Audit System
In Ireland the ICU Clinical Audit System (ICUCAS) is being implemented by DMF Systems on behalf of the National Office of Clinical Audit (NOCA) and the HSE. In 2019 the system went live in another 6 sites at Cork University hospital, South Tipperary General Hospital, Kerry General Hospital, Mercy University Hospital and Letterkenny University Hospital in addition to an existing 17 sites where the system is already live. The National ICU Audit is a quality and patient safety initiative that measures the quality of care in each ICU, benchmarking against international standards. Activity within the participating ICUs is carefully measured to help improve the standard of critical care within hospital groups and across the country.
Inter-AHP Suite
The latest version of Inter-AHP suite for Health and social care professionals, offers new functionality and improved performance to HSCPs.
The Inter-AHP suite is the Allied health professionals Electronic Patient Record. It’s a knowledge base of allied health clinical data including: Diagnosis, Treatment plans & Treatment outcomes for patients. Departmental resource and utilisation are captured and available for management reporting.
Providing real-time patient information in hospitals, the software known for its flexibility and clinically rich functionality is live in St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Clontarf Hospital and Children’s University Hospital.
The system ensures that HSCP’s have the information they need when it’s needed most, improving efficiency and patient safety,
The new Inter-AHP suite offers:
Improved quality care for patients provided through secure access for HSCP’s and secure, authenticated sharing of information with required Clinical Users.
Enhanced efficiency for Health and Social Care Professionals by automating the capture of resource utilisation; delivering the efficiencies of a fully Electronic Allied Health Patient knowledge base, accessible through business intelligence tools and analytics. Improved HSCP’s resource utilisation and treatment planning through intuitive reporting at the Specialty, Location and Clinician level.
The software is easy to use, intuitive and steps through the patient treatment process to assist with record keeping.
G-Cloud 11
We’ve been selected as a chosen supplier for the UK Government’s G-Cloud 11 Framework, in addition to already being on the G-Cloud 10 Framework.
